By investing into stocks you can make money from the appreciation of the stock, dividends, and even option premium and all you need to do is to save your money and learn to invest it wisely. 2. It is basically a gold mine filled with trillions of dollars were the potential growth rate has no real limit at all. That sounds like something I want to be a part of. 3. Great Savings Plan Why invest in stock market? Well what about it’s potential to be a fantastic savings plan. I don’t have a bank savings account. I get a sales pitch about the importance of saving every now and then. But you know there is no reason for me to have anything other than a checking account. Why put my money in a bank savings account or a C.D. so I can make 2% a year when the stock market pays out many times what banks do. In fact banks take money that is invested with them, reinvest it and then pay back pennies to their C.D. holder’s. Why not cut out the middle man and just do it myself? It will be more affective and I won’t have to settle for interest that will not even match inflation. One great reason, why invest in stock market or why people should invest into anything creative is that you can actually save your money and have it grow. The world is full of people who have invested their spare money for 10 or 20 years to wake up one day and find out they are worth $10 million dollars. Why invest in stock market? What about to grow your wealth? 4. Rich People Invest Another reason, why invest in stock market, is that the rich invest into it. Whether they made their money through a business, investing, or just got lucky, most rich people invest at least some of their money into the stock market. All the self made millionaires out there have to know something about how to make money and they all point to the stock market as a great source. 5. Lots of Options Whether you just want to buy a bunch of stocks and take advantage of the fact that the average stock market return is 10%, (higher than other asset classes such as real estate, bonds, T-bills, and CDs) or whether you want to be a lot more active and learn to trade stock options there are strategies out there that can help you do whatever it is you want to do. 6. Investing can be passive Another reason why people should invest in general is that most forms of investing can be put on autopilot. I plan on being very rich in my life and I can’t wait until I have enough money that I can just dump some of it into the SPY and live off the dividends. 7. No Debt This is the first reason why invest in stock market that is particularly about the stock market. You can always invest in a business or buy an apartment building, but if you take on a big loan in order to do that and something happens like your tenets don’t pay, well your extra income source quickly becomes a huge financial burden that can pull you down with it. With the stock market there is no risk of debt. If you invest $5,000 into the market you cannot lose more than $5,000 (unless you take on margin or do some other creative thing). Therefore if the worst case scenario happens and you lose it all it is not going to drag you down with it or ruin your credit. Instead you would simply lose that source of income. It still wouldn’t be fun, but it is a great reason why invest in stock market at least in addition to other kinds of investments. 8. Diversification I like the idea of investing into stocks and I like the idea of investing into real estate. By investing into different asset classes you are more diversified in case something happens with one class like a stock market crash. 9. Liquid Another reason why invest in Stock Market is that it is liquid. If I absolutely needed the money in my account today I could always sell everything and get a check within the week. This is not true with other investments that will either have a time frame where you can’t touch the money or you have to wait for months or even years just to find a buyer. I know it isn’t a good thing to pull your money out early but I at least have the option. One of the reasons why invest in stock market, is that if I need that money today, I can always pull it out and sell everything without a problem.
