Another reason to start blogging for traffic is to simply build a community around your brand. Blogs are personal and give people the sense of online interaction. People can also follow you and keep up to date with what you guys are doing and how you are working to make your product better.

In the end people are going to be more willing to buy from someone who builds up trust with them and who they can interact with by commenting on their blog rather than a “cold and lonely” website with just a sales letter and a buy now button.

There is more to a blog then blogging for website traffic. Another reason to set up a blog for your business is to get to know your customers. Inside of a blog people will comment on what you have to say. By reading those comments you can get an idea of who your readers/customers are and what they want out of your service.

5. Joint Ventures and Other Products

Another way to promote your site is by doing joint ventures. This is where you find a business that you believe in and is similar to yours then agree to help promote each other. If you already own a high traffic blog then you already have a big advantage and you might find a lot of people willing to do a joint venture with you.

Blogs also open the doors to diversify your income by selling other people’s products in exchange for a commission or sell advertising on the side. And as we all know diversification is big in business.
